A REALTOR YOU CAN TRUST

BUYERS

Homebuyers often end up with the first agent they meet, not knowing how to properly interview and hire a real estate agent. When talking with an agent, ask a lot of questions. This is a job interview, and you should hire the agent that best fits you and your needs. Listening to your homeownership goals is a great start. Its more than just about how many bedrooms and bathrooms you need in a home. Hire the real estate agent that will give you the best home buying experience and will be on your side.

SELLERS

When you’re selling your home, the first meeting with a real estate agent is a listing consultation. This is when an agent gets a first look look at your property and talks to you about your goals for selling.  The agent will do a comparative market analysis (CMA), that looks at comparable homes that have sold nearby, in order to determine a price recommendation. A good seller’s agent should also come up with a marketing strategy to help you get that price.

HOME IMPROVEMENTS

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

DENNIS R, SELLER

Susan Mullins is an excellent realtor - she is intelligent, professional, articulate and a good listener.   She communicates closely with the client and keeps them informed.

LARRY S - SELLER

I want to thank Susan Mullins for her very professional services in the sale of my townhome. My home received multiple offers and sold quickly at a price above my expectations. I highly recommend Susan to anyone considering a realtor.

SALLIE A - BUYER

Susan’s professional knowledge and guidance helped me identify properties that met my criteria for a home purchase. Her experienced counsel was essential in having my first purchase offer accepted by the seller. I absolutely recommend Susan without hesitation.

WHY USE AN AGENT TO SELL

When the market is favoring the Seller, it may seem like a slam-dunk to sell a home. But there are so many ways things can go wrong for a seller who tries to represent themselves in selling a home.

The legal aspects of the contract alone are getting harder to navigate and seller’s need a professional that can write a solid contract, protecting their interests. In this fast market, of an average of 15 days or less, on the market, using an Agent is more likely to get a fair market value for your home, assist with qualified buyers, and make sure your investment is represented properly and sold.

WHY USE AN AGENT TO BUY
  1. They have a ton of training! Buying a home requires lots of forms, reports, documents, disclosures, and other technical stuff. Agents can help you prepare an offer, advise you with contingencies, avoid costly mistakes, and delays in the process.

  2. Real Estate Agents have even more search power than you do when it comes to finding listings that fit your criteria.

  3. They know how to negotiate. It’s their job to help you be successful in this market. Knowing what to negotiate and what favors not to ask is part of their skill set.

  4. They are connected to everyone in the industry. Agents make it their job to know everyone that can possibly help in the process of buying. Mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, home inspectors, stagers, and more, are in their network.

  5. Whether you are buying from a friend or relative, you should have someone that has your back representing your interests. Buying a home is one of the largest purchases you will ever make.
